Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LUVO collects, uses, stores, and deletes your personal data, as well as the rights you have regarding that data.

LUVO is currently developed and operated by Lucas Videira, hereinafter referred to as "LUVO", "we", or "our".

1. What data we collect

When you sign in with Google

To create and authenticate your account, we receive:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Profile photo, when made available by your Google account.

LUVO does not receive your Google password.

When you use LUVO

We may store:

  • The content of the messages you write;
  • The answers generated by LUVO;
  • The history of your reflections;
  • The date and time of messages;
  • Technical identifiers needed to associate your reflections with your account;
  • Metadata automatically generated by LUVO to organize reflections, including title, central principle, secondary principles, and Insight Card;
  • Technical logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and the app's operation.

LUVO does not collect location data through the app and does not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising tracking tools.

2. What we use your data for

We use the data to:

  • Enable access to your account;
  • Respond to your messages;
  • Keep the history of your reflections;
  • Automatically generate and update LUVO Insight Cards, which represent the current understanding of each reflection;
  • Organize your reflections by principle;
  • Let you revisit previous reflections;
  • Ensure the app's security and operation;
  • Prevent abusive use of the service;
  • Provide user support;
  • Manage the business relationship, when applicable.

The content of your reflections is not sold to third parties.

LUVO does not use your reflections for targeted advertising.

3. Artificial intelligence and LUVO Insight Cards

LUVO uses artificial intelligence services to generate the app's answers and turn the content of reflections into structured knowledge.

During this process, message content may be sent to the artificial intelligence service used by LUVO, currently via Dify and its underlying AI model.

LUVO may automatically generate a LUVO Insight Card for a reflection. This can include:

  • A title;
  • A central principle;
  • Secondary principles;
  • A synthesis of the current understanding of the reflection.

The Insight Card does not replace the user's own reflection. It is an interpretation generated by LUVO of the current state of that reflection, and it can evolve as understanding evolves.

The Insight Card is not a diagnosis, a professional assessment, or a definitive statement about the user. LUVO does not intend to determine who the user is, nor to issue a definitive conclusion about their personality, behavior, or life.

LUVO uses artificial intelligence to support the reflection and knowledge-organization process. The interpretations produced by the system may be incomplete or incorrect and should not be understood as medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice.

LUVO does not use Insight Cards to make automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on the user.

When there is enough ambiguity to allow more than one plausible interpretation, LUVO favors continuing the reflection rather than presenting an interpretation as definitive.

4. Who we share data with

To provide and operate LUVO, we use certain technology service providers.

Service Data involved Purpose
Google / Firebase Name, email, photo, and authentication identifiers Login and authentication
Supabase Account data, reflections, messages, and Insight Cards Database and app operation
Dify and underlying AI model Message content and conversation identifier Generating answers and processing reflections
Close CRM Name and email, when applicable Contact management and business support/relationship

These providers handle data according to the services they provide to LUVO and may be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, the legally appropriate mechanisms are used for such transfers.

5. Legal basis for processing

Depending on the context, the processing of your data may be based on:

  • Performance of the service — when processing is necessary to provide the LUVO you requested;
  • Consent — when processing depends on your consent;
  • Legitimate interest — for example, for security, abuse prevention, and service operation, when applicable;
  • Compliance with legal obligations — when we are legally required to retain or process certain data.

When processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep the data associated with your account for as long as it remains active and for as long as needed to provide LUVO.

The history of your reflections is kept so you can revisit them and follow how they evolve.

Deleting a reflection

When you delete a reflection, LUVO begins deleting the data associated with that reflection.

This deletion includes:

  • The reflection stored in Supabase;
  • The associated messages;
  • The LUVO Insight Cards and their versions;
  • The corresponding conversation stored in the artificial intelligence service used by LUVO.

The goal is to delete the reflection's data from LUVO's systems in a coordinated way.

Deleting your account

When you permanently delete your account, LUVO deletes the data associated with the account and its reflections, including:

  • Reflections;
  • Messages;
  • LUVO Insight Cards;
  • Historical versions of Insight Cards;
  • Conversations stored in the artificial intelligence service;
  • App data associated with the account;
  • The identity used to authenticate with LUVO.

When user data exists in Close CRM, it is deleted when it was created exclusively by LUVO.

If the Close CRM contact contains additional information entered manually, or business information that was not created by LUVO, that information may be kept to avoid improperly deleting data that does not belong to LUVO.

In those cases, the situation may be flagged internally for review.

Deletion may not cover data we are legally required to retain, or data that may be legitimately kept for the exercise or defense of legal claims.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request deletion of your data;
  • Request restriction of processing;
  • Object to certain processing;
  • Request portability of your data, when applicable;
  • Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

To exercise your rights, contact:

[email protected]

We will respond within the timeframes set out in applicable law.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or improper disclosure.

Among other measures, we use:

  • HTTPS for communication with the app;
  • Authentication via Google/Firebase;
  • Access control over the data;
  • Database security mechanisms;
  • Authorization checks to ensure a user can only access their own data.

No computer system can guarantee absolute security. We work continuously to reduce the risks associated with data processing.

9. Minors

LUVO is not intended for minors under 16 years old.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor below the permitted age without the appropriate legal basis, we will take steps to delete that data.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes to LUVO, to the services we use, or to our legal obligations.

When a change is significant, we will try to communicate it through the app or another suitable means.

The date shown at the top of this policy reflects the last update.
